Take a look at the control options available: If your device has a touchscreen you'll be able to switch to the third mode - touchscreen mode. For example, this mode allows you to zoom by pinching in and out as well as by using the mouse wheel and holding Ctrl ( for Windows) or Cmd ( for Mac). In the trackpad mode, you can still use some mouse controls. This allows you to combine the usage of the mouse and trackpad if necessary. In the mouse mode, you can also use some trackpad gestures such as sliding with two fingers and pinching to zoom.

You can check the control options in the navigation mode window at any time. This mode works great for those who use a mouse. The navigation mode is set for every user individually. You can also change it by right-clicking anywhere on the board and choosing Navigation mode. Switch to the preferred mode and click Apply.
